Any one has the same problem like you- starting at zero. As growing busienss, you should set the realistic goals of network. For example, if you are the student. Just open the Anphabe network and find the people like you- student . The chance will be higher. Next come to the workshop and talk with guest speaker there. Ask them for card visit and later find them in the Anphabe. You can easily get connection with them as mentioning the meeting. Or you can ask for your teacher or professor and connect with them. Remember connecting with addtional one will increase the chance to open the network. You should patient to get one by one connection. After a certain time, you will have a wide network. Be open, creative , intergrity and generous. you will have more friend than you thought.

You can start with your classmates, colleagues, relatives, etc. Those people are familiar with you...make it simple and easy. Relationship is built based on trust and building trust...you can also use Quynh and Anh's ways...another way is registering and joining anaphase's workshop. :):)
