This sounds abnormal, but eventually often in developing market like Vietnam where the traditional coaching incentives are on the go. And, facing with the so-called secret relationship is now a question for every businesses.
Tottally agree with you about such this invisible property in Vietnam, and in Asia. Yet, when you build and maintain the coach, you probaly cannot develop your organization professionally and be claimed as an entrepreneur of a coherent family business. More, when the air is open with day-by-day stocked values, how can you value this?
Acting as an entrepreneur is always appreciated, for me, and relationship should be put aside, not eliminated, when you want wing and fly higher into the beats of vibrated market from this time. Relationship capital is to be developed for investors and stock holders, better than used for gaining a long term project. When it's deployed, at any levels, your project success is valued nothing, if based on such the unstable assets.
Last, not least, the relationship is considerable important as for almost Vietnamese SME but not for a large PNJ. It more or less should be accounted as a value added, not the major components of a successful business onto expanding market.
