    I think any relationship requires time to get closer. When you meet someone for the first time, you can only focus on the first impression. It's not only about appearance but also your stories. What stories do you have? Do you dare to take the first step to make friend with them first? Just step forward and tell the person you want to create a relationship with: who you are, what you're doing and listen to their stories in return.     Wonderful question, Khoa! I used to struggle with this question myself. I am naturally extroverted and enjoy to meet new relationships while my wife is more introverted and enjoys to build stronger relationships with her existing relationships. Both of us love people but we used to see it differently. Slowly, I've learned to strike a balance.

    There are deep relationships and there are broad relationships. One argument is that we need a big network of broad relationships to succeed. The other is that we have all the relationships we need right now to succeed in life - it's about quality, building stronger & deeper relationships. Both arguments are right and we need to find the right balance that works for each of us.

    It's ok if you're not known. I believe you do not need 5000 friends on Facebook, 1000 connections on LinkedIn or 10000 followers on Twitter to succeed in your life, family or business. I've learned that knowing the RIGHT people is far more important than knowing many people. Of course, we find the right people by also knowing more people.

    Here are my suggestions on what to do now:

    1. Assess your current relationships. Pick out those who have a positive influence on you and you consider the "right" people. Commit to spend more time with them and regularly. Take them out for lunch once a week or month. They will slowly introduce their relationships to you.

    2. Be helpful to the people around you. If you have an area you're good at, share it on a blog and share that information with the people who need it.

    3. Prioritize quality over quantity. If you have a relationship you enjoy, you will probably enjoy that person's friends too. In business, we all know the cost of losing an old customer is far more than finding a new one.

    4. Use your lunches strategically. It is healthy to grow your relationships. Find a balance by having time first for the important existing relationships and also making time to meet new relationships. Eg. You could make yourself available to meet 2 existing relationship and 1 new relationship a week if that fits your pace. You decide and find your own pace.

    5. Manage Social Media don't let it manage you. Don't compare yourself with people who are really wired to build broad relationships quickly if you don't have that personality. If people feel all you want is to add another number to your social networks, they will also treat you the same way. Try to really listen to others and join the conversation. Don't be in a rush to get the numbers. Quality before quantity.

    Generally speaking, any friend at begining does not know who you are. So there is two strategic things you should make

    01- You should make yourself more visible such as in the social network like anphabe, asking quesiton like your one is one of these ways, attend the off life workshop, get friends with famous one

    02- Any one will have same commons such as knowledge, interest, hoppy, more same concerns you have , more chance you get friend with somebody does not know you at all
