The biggest cultural challenge would be related to what some would call the "silent language": the language of reference within the company is English, and all managers are proficient at it. But do the same words have the same meaning across cultures? Do they "resonate" emotionally in the same way? How do they translate in terms of concrete actions, on issues of corporate conduct, accountability and responsibility? The leadership team has to make sure that everybody has the same understanding and practice of corporate policies and of the companies code of business conduct. This is a permanent challenge.
