If you can not express your ideas in concrete words, I doubt they are sound and firm, anyway. Using words to express ideas is a good way to test.
Emotions are harder, because it's rare to feel only one thing. What you normally feel is a cloud of them, with some more prominent than other. So while it's easy to express One emotion with words, I dont think you can express fully what you feel at that exact moment. Who can know what you think, not even you I suspect.
