Among them, ¼ is daily newspapers, all major newspapers have online versions (like Thanhnien, Tuoi tre…), and 20 news and magazines in foreign languages. Women magazines are more developed than men magazines.

However, a big problem of Vietnam press nowadays is because of the critical competition between media companies, some media companies always want to get exclusive information asap. Because of the urgency and pursuing "exclusive" information, many journalists have to edit very fast, and use “technique” to attract reader, audience. The consequence of this problem is the decreasing of objectivity’s press, lacking of in – depth information, and poor quality content.
