I think that you should seperate between work and family although it's rather hard to do that. In working time, make clear plan and try to complete all tasks. if you haven't finished it today, don't take your bad feeling, your works to your home. Let's think family is the place you can find the peace, where members in family want to see your smile. Besides, talk difficulties you are having with your husband. Sometimes, only listener help you feel better. Hope you always be happy.

Also helpful with your personal life is to pick up a hobby completely outside of work. Find something you personally enjoy. It could be yoga but could be photography, music, writing, etc. Someone I work with was in a similar situation. She used to be n the band in high school. She took up guitar and singing, which she enjoyed. She now plays for small community groups and even some restaurants/clubs invite her to play and sing.
I like to be involved in community things and the most recent is a film festival for films made by Asian-Americans. I enjoy movies and seeing the up and coming artists. I am not sure why but it seems these kind of activities relieve the stress. Maybe it is that we have few opportunities to express ourselves at work and hobbies allow us to define ourselves. .

Hi Rosie, reaching higher in any companies, beside getting higher salary, you are going to face with more and more working pressure that sometime you will feel very stress and even sometime I angry with my husband without any reason. I have the feeling that I lost my work and life in balance.
