.cũng như trong quan hệ gia đình/tình yêu/đồng nghiệp khác, phải có mâu thuẫn và phải được giải quyết thì cả hai bên sẽ hiểu nhau hơn để cùng nhau phát triển

Today - a high pressure situation with my boss on how to value a targeted acquisition with a value of over $150,000,000. He was anxious to be deeply involved but could not meet for a day and I wanted to get started so I could met the deadline. We found a common ground after strongly (very strongly) stating our points and gaining an understanding of each other's positions.
I think this works OK since we have known each other for a very long time. So we are comfortable having an open and quick paced argument. I think if it was a new boss I would be much more cautious. I also can not forget to respect him as my boss though I forget often! Usually at the end we have a leastwise conversation

Boss always right just like our kids :D .Take time to change his mind, so don't waste you time and credibility to argue with him. Take another time to convince him. I do had some touch time with some of my colleague but it's will never consider as an argue but a little bit louder :D
