Why couples shouldn’t work for the same company?

COUPLES can work at the same company if:
- That company is a big one
- They are not working at the same place
- They are not at the same team, same department.

But, the best is like the question, because the environment at the office is different with home. The beloved people in the office are also too different at home!

It is a difficult thing to accomplish.

I had a situation of a wife who worked for me and her husband worked for my peer. My peer would complain to me when the husband took time off from work to care for their child. My response was "it's none of my business how they take time off from work". It was surprising to me that my peer thought he should come to me since it is his employee. I never had a problem with the couple working in the same company but it did cause problems with others.

I currently employ a woman whose husband works in another department. She has been working her in a high profile role for about six months. I have no complaints and so far no one else does either. Her husband's boss is a woman and I wonder if that has something to do with it -- that a woman is more understanding of the situation?

In general though I think unless the couple owns the business then I would recommend that hey not work together.

Look into the different sides:
1. For Company: It will relate to the Interest Conflict (compromising to breach company's rules). Multi-national companies often do not allow a couple to work together in the same company.
2. For Couple: It is unlucky to work and meet your spouse all day long (if so) at the office.
I completely agree with this topic.

There are two major reasons

For company : couple working will create the conflic of interest, another is the difficult when problem with one will lead to problem of two

For individual

No one like being controlled for 24 hour . Another thing that conflict between couple will lead to conflict in the private . In my experiences , wife is marketing director , husband is production manager. you can imagine the hot discussion from meeting , during back home, in dining room and even at the bed . Super nightmare
