Would you hire a hard working person over a more knowledgeable person?
Person A: Hard working, always willing to learn. Doesn't have much knowledge, but works his butt off. Very dedicated to accomplishing the goal.
Person B: Knows 3 times (literally) more than person A, smarter and understands what's best. He's a thoughtful architect. But, he works half as much because he's lazy and doesn't care much.

In Vietnam you can go for person A because there is no competition in the knowledge-economy. Vietnam economy does not compete in brain work, creativity and brand new solutions to new problems. We are still trying to overcome old-time problems. As we are not in a knowledge society, a hard working person can replicate old solutions and get top results. Just working harder and Vietnam roads will be finished, service in restaurant will be top level, client service will be completed quick, rooms will be clean, etc... just basic stuff will be done. You need work and dedication to details.
In developed countries, you need to find the replacement of the ipad 2, to compete with a better hybrid car or a car battery that can go 120km/hr and last 4 hours. The finanical markets and fund managers need to find the next protection against depression and government bad debts, the next derivative or the new concept that will bring new clients to hotels... Hard work will take you nowhere, because you need a little of each brain to bundle a solution that will beat the latest 3D TV without glasses, the next movie that will replace Harry Potter. You need the brain.

Vì qua người A tôi thấy được tinh thần cầu tiến và ham học hỏi nên việc có được kiến thức và kinh nghiệm không khó. Bản chất người A chăm chỉ nên anh ta sẽ càng cố gắng nếu được nhìn nhận đúng đắn.
Riêng người B, người ta vẫn có câu: "Giang sơn dễ đổi, bản tính khó dời" => Vậy làm sao thay đổi được nếu người đó vốn dĩ không biết chủ động thay đổi mình.
Tóm lại, là nhà tuyển dụng thì khi đào tạo thì sẽ đào tạo được cái gọi là Knowledge còn cái Attitude thì phải do chính bản thân của người đó.
