Person A: Hard working, always willing to learn. Doesn't have much knowledge, but works his butt off. Very dedicated to accomplishing the goal.

    @ Evangelos: Haha maybe 'cause I have seen such person - who was a smart manager enough not exposed his laziness to his staff and used their strength best to deliver expected performance.. However, I also agree that taking this type of person in means taking high risks that s/he will just work up to just your expectation and never beyond ~ as s/he's lazy and doesn't care much --> Not a good choice for a long run
    It really depends on what you need at the time!!

  • It depends on your position and your personel plan. Maybe at a specific time, you may need person A, but another time you need the other guy.
    The matter is, we should have different kind of employees to work for us. Each person will have strengths and weeknes. If we have no good managent methods, we can not expect more from our staffs. Like you have a gun, you have good soilders, but your war plan&startegy is bad, how can we win?
